Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of facedate.com, operated by Forhandlingspartner AS, organisation number 997 667 344, Postboks 6430 Etterstad, 0605 Oslo, Norway. By using the site, you accept these terms.
What our ratings are
facedate ratings are based only on documented, public information such as confirmed data breaches, decisions by data protection authorities, court settlements and regulator actions. Each finding is listed with its date and a link to the source. Our method is described on the page “How ratings work”.
What our ratings are not
A rating is not a guarantee that a service is safe or unsafe. A high score means we found few documented problems under our published method. It does not mean that problems cannot exist. A rating is not legal, financial or security advice, and it is not a statement about the people who use a service.
Accuracy and corrections
We check our sources carefully and show when each service was last reviewed. Information can still change or be incomplete. If you believe something on facedate is wrong or out of date, write to corrections@facedate.com with a link to the source. We review all requests and update the page if the evidence supports it. Dating services that are rated on facedate can use the same address.
Independence
No dating service can pay for a rating or for a change to a rating. Any commercial relationship is described on our Disclosure page and never affects scores.
Trademarks
Names and logos of dating services belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the services we describe. Their use does not imply any partnership or endorsement.
Your use of the site
You may read and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy our ratings, texts or data in bulk, scrape the site, or present our content as your own without written permission.
Links to other websites
When you leave facedate for a dating service, that service's own terms apply. We are not responsible for content, prices or practices on other websites.
Liability
facedate is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, Forhandlingspartner AS is not liable for loss resulting from decisions made on the basis of information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are resolved by the Norwegian courts, with Oslo District Court as the agreed venue, unless mandatory consumer rules give you the right to use another court.
